GAS QUALIFIED CATERING ENGINEER
Job Description
This client are a leading commercial catering engineering equipment company based in London. They carry our servicing, maintenance, repair & installations on all types of commercial catering equipment.
As a catering engineer your duties will include:
- Regular planned preventative maintenance visits to client sites.
- Maintenance, repair & fault finding on cooking-line and warewash equipment.
- Occasional installation of catering equipment.
- Check and respond to emails.
Receive & respond to telephone enquiries. - Process parts orders – To provide service co-ordinator & service controller all relevant information to ensure accurate parts ordering process.
- Update and process both company and customer business systems at the appropriate time.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained to the appropriate levels.
- Liaise with service co-ordinator to ensure excellent service at all times.
- Liaise with service co-ordinator to ensure non-stock items for delivery direct to customer.
- Carry out weekly van / work equipment stock take.
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment – Work within your professional guidelines and safe systems of work at all times, paying particular attention to FGas / Gas Safe regulations as and where required.
- Carry out weekly H&S inspections.
Manage & maintain the E-tech system. - Action works orders.
- Manage & maintain Click system.
- Manage diary & job allocation process.
- Help to Establish customer requirements.
- Complete & close down jobs ensuring all recorded information is correct.
- Escalate any service issues that arise requiring urgent attention.
- To attend relevant training courses.
- To attend company office as and when required for training or additional meetings.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- COMCAT 1, 3 & 5
- F-gas
- Electrical background
- Commercial catering equipment experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Ideally living in London or home counties
Bonuses
- Salary will be negotiable however this will be in the region of £34,000 -£42,000 basic.
- Overtime is paid at time and half (Double time on Sundays & Bank holidays)
