What Qualifications Do I Need As A Commercial Catering Engineer?

  • A full, clean driving licence.
  • A Gas Safe registration and qualification.
  • A minimum of level 2 English and maths to become an apprentice. Level 3 is preferable for entry-level full-time jobs.
  • A DBS certification.
  • A Commercial Catering Gas Safety ACS qualification.
  • COMCAT1, COMCAT3 and COMCAT5 catering appliance groups.

Candidates must offer relevant credentials to uphold the customer-facing role effectively and safely.
